Frequently Asked U Part Wig Questions

  • Weight: Our U-part wigs typically come in weights ranging from 100g to 160g. For a fuller, more voluminous look, we recommend choosing extensions in the 150g-200g range.
  • Adjust placement: Adjusting the position of the wig can help achieve better coverage for a fuller appearance.

U-part wig comes with an adjustable strap at the back and equipped with clips for a secure hold. If you find that the existing clips do not provide enough security, we suggest sewing extra clips onto the wig to further enhance its stability and ensure a secure fit throughout the day. We recommend starting by adjusting the strap to achieve the desired fit before considering the addition of any clips. Frequently Asked U Part Wig Care Questions

  • Wash with lukewarm water and sulfate-free shampoo.
  • Use conditioner and nutrient oils to keep the hair shiny and smooth. Let the hair natural air-dry.
  • Brush your hair extensions from tip up to top step by step.
  • Use wide-tooth comb or a soft-bristle brush.
  • Don’t comb your hair extensions when they are wet.
  • Keep the temperature under 160°C when using any type of heat styling tool on your hair.
  • Sleeping: It’s possible but not recommended regularly. Friction can cause tangling, matting (especially underneath), and damage to both the wig and your leave-out. Always protect it with a satin bonnet or scarf and preferably a satin pillowcase. Consider taking it off at night for longevity.
  • Showering: Strongly discouraged. Water and steam can loosen the installation, cause excessive manipulation to your leave-out when drying, promote mildew under the cap, and tangle the wig hair. Remove your wig before showering
  • Every 1-2 weeks with regular use.
  • Wash when you notice significant product buildup, odor, or if your scalp feels irritated.
