How to Remove Halo Hair Extensions

1. Tool Preparation

Styling clips (such as alligator styling clip or shark clip) and detangling brush.

2. Hair Isolation

Use clips to lift and fasten upper or layered hair,  isolating the crown area where the halo hair will sit to prevent blending errors.

3. Clip Location

Gently lift the halo hair extension near the crown; identify the 2-4 invisible clips attached to the fishing line for precise removal.

4. Extension Removal

Press metal clips to release, then slide the halo hair backward or downward from the scalp to avoid tugging hair.

5. Ends Detangling

Start at the tips with the detangling brush, gently smoothing downward to remove knots and restore extension softness.
