How to wash my hair extensions? (For Semi-Permanent types)

Hair extensions like tape in hair extensions, hair weft and tip hair extensions. Because they are semi-permanent products, it must be washed together with the original hair after wearing.

Core principles of washing with hair extensions

Reduce friction: avoid excessive rubbing of the roots (glue/ring) of the extensions

Layered care: original hair and extensions need to be treated differently

Low temperature protection: high temperature accelerates the aging of adhesives

Step-by-step operation process

Step 1: Pretreatment (dry hair)

Use a wide-tooth comb to comb the hair from the ends to the roots in reverse order to untangle

Focus on the hair extension connection, spray the hair extension detangling spray.

Step 2: Water temperature control

High temperature can easily cause the gel to soften and fall off and the hair scales to expand excessively

Step 3: Washing product selection

Alcohol-free, anti-static formula, zero silicone oil, low foam type

Step 4: Washing method

Rub the shampoo in the palm of your hand and massage the scalp with your fingertips

Gently stroke the foam in the direction of the hair flow, and do not scratch with your nails

Avoid the connection point within 1cm

Step 5: Conditioner usage specifications

Avoidance range: at least 2cm away from the connection point

Hair drying process

Use microfiber towel to absorb water (do not rub)

Glue-bonded hair extensions: Use cold air mode to dry
