Prepare tools before washing

Special cleaning products: sulfare-free shampoo

Tools: wide-tooth comb, warm water, absorbent towel, hair extension fixing clip

• Use a wide-tooth comb to comb from the ends of the hair to the roots in the opposite direction to avoid pulling the roots of the hair extensions.
• The water temperature should not be too hot. High temperature can easily damage the hair and make it brittle.

Wash hair extensions technique

• Fill the sink or basin with warm water, add a few pumps of shampoo to the water, and stir the water with your hands until foam appears
  Hold the head of the extension and gently wash the rest of the extension in the water. If it is a multi-piece type, it is best to wash it piece by piece.
• Use running water to wash off the shampoo foam in the direction of the hair. After washing and squeezing out the water, apply conditioner to the area except the top of the extension.
• Lay the extension flat on the towel and let it stand for 8-15 minutes to absorb nutrients. After the time is up, rinse the hair with warm water in the direction of the hair.

Dry the hair extensions

For removable hair types:

Use a towel to gently press the hair to absorb moisture, do not rub the hair. Comb the hair with a wide-tooth comb.

It is recommended to air-dry the hair. If you choose to blow dry with a hair dryer, please pay attention to using a low temperature setting + diffuser nozzle and blow dry more than 20cm away from the hair.

For Semi-Permanent hair types:

Blot dry: Use a microfiber towel to gently press to absorb water, avoiding friction.

Low-temperature blow-drying: Use cold air or low temperature to dry the roots of the extensions, and let the ends dry naturally.

Reduce heat tools: Curling irons and straighteners can easily damage the extensions due to high temperatures. If you need to use them, spray heat-insulating spray in advance.
